Michelle’s work was awesome. Both the photos she took and her demeanor. She has this great combination of “calm but energized” that allowed my husband and I to relax and trust that she’d do great work. A particularly important moment was when I was running about 20 minutes late to the church and my husband was at the church waiting. Michelle noticed he was anxious, and gently told him it’s totally normal for the bride to run late and not to worry. It was little things like that, that made her such a pleasure to work with.
She also wasn’t ever overbearing. She skillfully gathered groups making sure we got the shots we wanted, but wasn’t boisterous about it. And she never ever felt intrusive. She was wonderful to chat with during the day. I feel so grateful that she was the person we got to spend our wedding day with. It really felt like we could just be ourselves and enjoy our day knowing that she’d get the fabulous shots we wanted.
I also feel like she really understood the style I wanted and executed it perfectly. We got our photos a month or so after the wedding.

I was more of a laid-back bride who wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted in terms of photography. Michelle walked me through what I needed to do for her in order to make her job easier, and she was able to give me an overview of how the timeline of the wedding day would go. She quickly picked up that we are all goofballs and ran with it. She got great shots of the groomsmen getting ready that really captured each person's personality.
